Old World Craftsmanship
Paul McPeake started Paul C. McPeake Remodeling and Carpentry, Inc. in 2000. Paul, an immigrant from Ireland, was formally trained in Ireland's trade schools in carpentry and building. He legally immigrated to the United States in 1994 and proudly became a citizen in February of 2001. Paul lives in Skippack, Pennsylvania and most of our work is done in the Montgomery County area. This is important because if there is a problem with any of the work that Paul C. McPeake Remodeling and Carpentry performs in your home, you won't have to go far to find us. We live and work in the same area, our children attend the area's schools and our community is important to us. Paul regularly sponsors different sporting teams through the YMCA and the Westmont soccer league as well as volunteering his time on the Collegeville Memorial.
Our Mission
Our mission is quite simple. We want only to provide quality work at a fair price while ensuring that our employees are paid a fair wage. Only by combining these three goals can we ensure that Paul C. McPeake Remodeling and Carpentry, Inc. will continue to grow. We want to be around for generations to come so our customers will have the security in knowing that should a problem arise, we will be there to fix it.
Our Pricing
Unlike many other small contracting companies, we have invested a lot of time and resources in finding a way to price jobs that allows us to make a profit and cover our costs fairly and uniformly. We have all heard of contractors that base the price of the job on the type of car in the driveway. This is not how we work. We use an estimating program similar to the type used by insurance companies. The program we use tracks the cost of labor and material in our area. We input the specific job and the program tells us how much it should cost based on the averages. It is updated several times a year so that it is always current. This means that we will not always be the lowest price but our price will be fair. This also allows us to get our estimates out quickly so that the homeowner is not waiting months for a relatively simple estimate.
